  • Why Buy From Delta Pro Meters & Measurement

Flir CM275 clamp meter with thermal imaging

The FLIR CM275 clamp meter brings the power of Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM) together with a range of electrical measurement features, so you can visually identify electrical problems and solve complex issues quickly.

This Industrial Imaging Clamp Meter is an advanced 600 Amp AC/DC clamp meter that offers 160 x 120 thermal resolution, and a screen with 44% more viewing area than the previous model.

The CM275 leads you straight to the problem through the power of thermal imaging. Visually identify hot spots without directly contacting the panels, cabinets, or cables that present safety hazards. And with IR resolutions up to 19,200 pixels, you’ll see the temperature differences that indicate the start of electrical faults before they become serious issues.

The CM275 also helps streamline inspections by allowing you to connect wirelessly (uses bluetooth) to FLIR Tools or the new FLIR InSiteTM workflow management app.

Whether you’re inspecting electrical systems or servicing equipment, the CM275 can help you work faster, safer, and more efficiently.

Man overwhelmed by choice of multimeters

    Confused?

    Overwhelmed?

It’s one thing to know what basic functions you require of a multimeter - Voltage, Current, Resistance, Capacitance, Temperature etc.  It’s another thing to nut through all the specifications and understand exactly what your multimeter is capable of.

A lot of the time you only need to know the course parameters of each measurement,  e.g. up to 1000A current,  600V voltage,  1 mega-ohm resistance etc.  But sometimes, particularly in industrial applications, you need to know how your multimeter performs a particular test, how accurate the displayed results are, and whether or not the multimeter will be safe and reliable for the intended application.

This is where terms such as count, range, resolution, basic accuracy, IP rating, CAT rating, True RMS, crest factor and others come into play.

If you are not familiar with these terms and how they relate to multimeter measurement, Steve has put together a series of blogs to explain in laymen’s terms what each mean.

     Check them out here.
